Mani Stones

Mani stones  are commonly found along the trails of Nepal and Tibet. They have the inscription “Om Mani Padme Hum” carved on them, loosely translated as “Hail! The Jewel in the Lotus” a reference to the Buddha. Om Mani Padme Hum is a common mantra chanted by Buddhists.
